Traveling between Taiwan and the United States, both border controls greeted me with 'Welcome Back.' In the context of global mobility, we pondered our destination and purpose. We used henna to inscribe 'welcome back' onto each other's bodies, covering ourselves completely. As time passes, our destination fades. Maybe our bodies are the ultimate return point.
